Actually, this is optional. I have my own reasons why I choose Gmail rather than any other e-mail domains. For me, gmail has a very good spam filtering and faster compared to the well-known Yahoo. And there are some money-making websites that do not accept registrations from Yahoo users. I don't know what are their reasons but for your easeness in the future, and in order for you to boost your online money-making opportunities, create and use a Gmail account now. It is not a hassle to create an account and besides, if you don't want to abandon your other e-mail, you can still use that for your personal things and Gmail for business purposes.

Step 2: Create a PayPal account.
According to Wiki, "PayPal is an e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. PayPal serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders."
In short, PayPal will serve as your online wallet. PayPal can be funded through credit card or bank account (Union Bank for Philippines). But that is optional. For online money-making purposes, you will be using your PayPal for receiving purposes only. So there is no need for funding it by credit card or bank account. Once you received money on your PayPal, you can immediately use them for buying things online. But if you want to withdraw from your PayPal, that would be the time you will be needing to connect your PayPal to your bank account. By the way, think about that later when you already have something to withdraw from your PayPal account. And don't worry, I will write a tutorial for that.
So, create a PayPal account now. You may use your registered Gmail account for PayPal registration.
